The Daily Bruin is UCLA's 105-year-old award-winning student newspaper. After joining The Bruin in 2022, I was the Sports Editor for the 2024-2025 school year, and now the most senior reporter in the section.

My column, "Ira's Intuition," is a finalist for the College Media Association Sports Column of the year award. My feature on UCLA football kicker Mateen Bhaghani (linked below) is a finalist for the Associated Collegiate Press Sports Feature of the year. Winners will be announced in October.

In the 2024 Fall National College Media Convention in New Orleans, The Bruin earned 46 awards, including first place in CMA' "Best College Media Group of the Year" honoring the nation's best all-around newspaper, first place in "Best Print Sports Section" and third place in "Best Web Sports Section."
