Los Angeles Times
Los Angeles is now my third home. After reporting for the papers of record in my other two homes, getting the chance to write for one of the premier papers in the world – based in LA – meant everything. Different continents, same commitment to thoughtful, forward-thinking and responsible storytelling. To have entered a newsroom filled with some of the nation’s most esteemed journalists – people I’ve long admired – and call them colleagues still feels surreal.
At its best, journalism starts with listening – to the city, its history, its people, its fractures. In my effort to do just that in the summer of 2025, have a read of some of my favorite stories.
